Really tasty, tastes way better/tender than store bought ground meat.

Really great tasting beef.

After buying a whole grass fed cow from a small rancher over a year ago, my husband and I got very spoiled with our beef. Not wanting quite that much beef at one time again, I decided to try Winters Ranch and another local ranch that sell in smaller quantities.

I ordered 10lbs of ground beef from each ranch and tried them side by side as hamburgers. I make excellent hamburgers. 😊 The Winters Ranch beef was far superior. The other ranch’s beef was so fatty, you could see it before even cooking it. To be honest, I thought that beef would win the taste test because fat is flavor, right? Not so. The other Ranch’s beef was swimming in grease after cooking but the flavor was bland. The winters Ranch beef didn’t give off much grease but tasted very beefy.

We still aren’t ready for other cuts yet since we are still finishing our previous cow purchase, but when we are ready we will order from Winters Ranch.
