Steps for Processing

•Once we receive the hanging weight from the butcher, you’ll be invoiced based on that weight. Custom cut sheets will be provided with your invoice, so you can select how you’d like your pork processed.

•We’ll contact you as soon as your order is finished at the butcher to schedule a delivery date and time that works for you.

 Please note: You will be responsible for paying the butcher and processing fees. This must be paid before we pick up your meat from butcher.

While the weight varies by animal, over the last number of years the average final packaged weight of a 1/2 pig has been between 77 average pounds of pork. The average hanging weight of a 1/2 pig has been has been approx. 80-100 pounds, but this is different from animal to animal - the hanging weight can vary depending on the overall size of the pig.
