Questions we get asked

If yours isn't here, call the ranch. We'd rather talk it through than have you guess.

Read all FAQs
How is it packaged?

Each cut is individually wrapped, except steaks, which generally come two to a pack. Every package carries the USDA inspection mark and the Colorado Proud badge.

Are your cattle grass-fed?

We run two programs, and we label which is which. Grass-fed and grass-finished cattle are on grass their whole lives. Grain-finished cattle are pasture-raised, then finished on grain for 60 to 90 days.

Check this product's title and description. We don't use one label to cover everything.

Do you use hormones or antibiotics?

No. No added hormones, no antibiotics, no GMOs. We don't spray our pasture with pesticides or chemicals.

How do I get my order?

Three ways, all free. Pick up at the ranch in Rush, meet us at a drop point in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Falcon, Peyton, Calhan, Fountain, Castle Rock or Monument, or take free home delivery on side orders.

When do I need to order by?

6:00 PM MST the day before your pickup.

Is your meat USDA inspected?

Yes. Our meat is processed at a USDA-inspected facility, EST. 1686.

What Colorado families say

  • 5 out of 5 stars

We split a half with my sister. The invoice matched what they told us on the phone, to the dollar.

    Sarah M., Colorado Springs

  • 5 out of 5 stars

They walked me through the cut sheet twice. First time I've ever understood what I was ordering.

    Daniel R., Pueblo

  • 5 out of 5 stars

A quarter filled half our chest freezer, exactly like the chart said. The ground beef is a different thing entirely.

    Megan T., Falcon

Our ranch

Raised by one family, on one piece of ground

Our family has raised cattle on the open plains of eastern Colorado since 1952. Two years to raise an animal, no hormones, no antibiotics, and no pens. Our cattle graze every day of their lives, right up to butcher day.

We're not USDA Certified Organic, and we'll tell you exactly why. We'd rather show you how we work than hand you a badge.
